Inspired by: Shelley Haganman

Today I was inspired by Shelley Haganman of {ScrapperGirl} & The Scrap Review.
For one, I love the design of the house and landscape.
But the big reason why I love this project it because it was a
NO-Sew project!!
It looked like she broke out the sewing machine to make this happen!
She used Canvas Corp's Canvas FabricPage to make into a pillow.  The FabricPages can come double-sided sewn together and you can pick it open to create a pillow!  Love it, Shelley!  Now I will have to go make one!

Beautiful Butterflies...

One of our family's favorite movies is
I love that part where Hemlich the large caterpillar
becomes a beautiful butterfly...with his tiny little wings.
My son watched it over & over & over again,
back when it was on VHS.  I think we went through
several tapes until we upgraded to a DVD.

This was super easy to make!
I used Canvas Corp Chunky Stretched Canvas &
Corkstock {it has an adhesive backing click here for more info}
that was cut out into butterflies
using the Accu-Cut die cutting machine.
Then I just added bling, stitching, sticker letters {fresh & happy}, punched
out bunnies {Martha Stewart punch} and etc to
make this a very spring-y project.
I love how anything that I hang on this old window looks perfect!
Have a wonderful day!

Meet Gnorman the Gnome...

Meet my newest friend
Gnorman the Gnome.
He greets our friends in our entryway.
This is what Gnorman looked like when I first met him at HobLob.
I thought that he would fit perfect on my entry table if he was a different color.
So, blue he became...
I used Americana Bahama Blue Paint from DecoArt.
Have a fun day!

Bloom & Grow Banner

This is a banner that I made to attach to my fun little cabinet door that I
got at the flea market.
It is sitting on my ledge in the entryway to greet our guests...

I made it to hopefully inspire you to enter the
Canvas Corp Banner Contest,
it ends on March 31st and they have amazing prizes for 3 lucky winners!
I used Canvas Corp Burlap and Canvas Shapes to make this.
The "l" and the 2nd "o" are on a little 2"x2" stretched canvas.

Misc Friday...& Banner Contest

Canvas Corp has some amazing Handmade, embossed and flocked paper.
These are some of the samples of them.

One of my favorite places to shop when I go to Utah is Tai Pan Trading.
That is where I got this metal Welcome sign.
I told my husband that we are going to pack light this summer when
we go to visit because I will pack it to the max for the ride home.

Don't forget to enter in the Canvas Corp Banner Contest!
You have a chance to win some amazing product packages!
Here is the link to all of the info:
Please email me if you have any questions!!

Today we had to do a little updating of our computer and printer...
It was a long time coming, but we just couldn't drag it on any longer.
Good bye slower than molasses computer, hello mega speed!
So, I was able to get the nicest printer that I have ever had.
No more trips to *-Mart for photos!!
I chose an Epson Artisan 835 because it is more for the person
that wants to print out quality photos...like me!
Have a fabulous weekend!

A little present for a friend...

One of my favorite things to do when I get home from church
on Wednesday nights is to tune in on the House of 3 Webshow.
Last week Heidi Swapp was showing
how to make cute altered notepads.
So, with my friend's birthday coming up...I thought that this
would be a fun little gift for her.  You know, for that friend
that has everything already...
I used a 12"x12" sheet of paper and cut it 8 1/2"x12".
I decided to have it open in the middle.
So, to help it stay shut I had to add the ribbon to it.
The middle bow is only attached on one side of the flap.
This notepad is a 5"x8" size, I bought a pack of 6 for cheap at my
local discount store.
I cut two slits, one at the top and then one towards the bottom
to feed the back of the pad through.
Have a Delightful day!

Any suggestions on how to make one?

Card Sets...a Necessity

I made these cards today...
I have a little tutorial on the Canvas Corp Blog about it
I need to replenish my card supply.  I love having homemade cards
on hand ready to go...birthdays, thank you, blank cards and etc.
I found this beauty at the Flea Market yesterday. It is amazing how
I go in there just wanting to get one thing and I come out
with a load!  I just can't help myself.
Now I just have to find the perfect place for it.
Have a beautiful day!

A Tray full of Spring Delights

I just made this little pretty.
It just made my heart jump when I was designing with
flowers, birds, banners, spring colors...

I just love that every little box has it's own personality.

I made this circle flower using Canvas Corp's new Handmade paper...
