Tuesday Morning Finds

I had a fun-filled day last Saturday shopping with my mom.  We went into Tuesday Morning to see what they had and I found tons of scrapbooking supplies.  I bought 6 rolls of Heidi Swapp stickers for $1.99ea., reg. $14.99 ea, on each roll they have at least 50 sheets of stickers {I didn't open them to count yet!}.  Then I found Martha Stewart punches for $2.99 ea, reg. $9.99 ea..  I guess now I need to make something with them, right!?!  {I also found some rub-ons that I helped design years ago...weird to see it there!}

Do you ever have those weeks that almost everyone in your family gets sick?  Well, today is my turn with an allergy attack!  I am dying here!  Hopefully tomorrow I will be feeling better and get back to making stuff!  My hubby isn't sick, but had a flat tire at work today...poor dear!

What are you getting your mother/mother-in-law for Mother's day?  Share please!!!  Tomorrow I will post what I had made for my Mother-in-law...now I have to figure out what to do for my momma!

Have a great day!

Random Stuff...

Last night, I went to a home center here in town that is going out of business and I was able to get these Benjamin Moore Paint samples for $.75 ea., they are the same size as acrylic paints {2 oz}.  They are orginially $4.99 ea.!!!  I think I might run out and get some more while they are still there!
I also found these little items.  I am going to use the canisters in my craft room as storage, I might have this on my work table...who knows.  It was orginally $57 and I got it for $13.
The silver business card holder I thought would be a fun picture holder.
This is what I have been working on today...tags for our Relief Society Birthday Meeting.   I still have a hard time not calling it Enrichment.  {it is the women's organization in our church http://www.lds.org/} We are having a "Zion's Mall" with a Shoe Store {don't judge another until you walk in their shoes mini class}, a Williams-Sonoma Kitchen Store {Being with Family}, a Wireless Store {Prayer}.  Plus, we are having a food court and a thrift store {our Provident living tables, people bring items they don't want anymore and it is a free swap.  Then we send the rest to Goodwill}.  These tags will go on the shopping bags that we will have for the ladies. It will have coupons, samples, handouts and etc. in it!  We are also having a kiosk area that will have Emergency Prepardness information.
I will definitely take pictures of what it looks like when it is set up.  I am so excited about it!!
Have a wonderful day!

Craft Room & Shopping: Getting Closer to having a Craft Room & Saving Money

Yesterday, Mr. B and I went to Home Depot to get the lumber that we needed for our projects in the Entryway & Craft Room.  It smells good in the house...maybe they can make a Plug-in smell like
 Fresh Lumber.
We had to laugh because when we were cutting some of the wood there {because you can pay by the foot}, on the cutting table someone wrote:
"God, save me from my wife".
Someone must have been having a hard time. :)
In the craft room we are going to do the Board & Battan style.  I just leaned the strips of wood to check it out.  I tried to mark where the wall wasn't there before and was just open to the entryway.
Still trying to find a wall color...

I saved over $522.00 dollars today buying all of these clothes from The Children's Place & Gymboree.
I only paid $140 for all of this.  It sounds like a lot still, but I was buying for 4 kids, too!

At the Children's Place, I didn't spend over $3.99 on any of these items {plus my sister let me borrow her 15% off coupon}.  Gymboree was a little bit more, but still a great price {40%, plus an additional 20%}.
Most of all the clothes I bought are for the kids for in the fall/winter this year.  I went first thing this morning and knew 4 gals shopping there...the word gets around fast!
