Paper Wreath using a 'Little Women' book...{tutorial}

This is my first paper wreath, I have been admiring the ones I have seen made online.
I had an old Little Women book that I thought would be perfect for this project.
A closer look...I sprayed it with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist {you can't tell in the picture}
I will probably put this in Baby K's room.
I got the silver ceiling tin from the flea market...it was love at first sight!
I started with a 10" straw wreath, strips of burlap, hot glue & a book
Just wrap the burlap around so you don't see the wreath form.
Rip out several sheets of the book.
First fold: {trim off the bottom and make little flowers with it}
Second fold:  {I used pinking shears}
Third fold:
Fourth fold:
Cut a rounded top part:
This is what it will look like at this point:
Pinch the middle to give the petals some shape:
Hot glue to the wreath.  I only did one row of flowers, if I had all the time in the world I would've covered the whole thing!
Enjoy!

  1. JENN~ this is darling, now I am even more bummed we can't hang and create together! I love the tutorial and the pinking sheer look of it! I love the whole display. I have 3 tin art squares, similar to the one you hung your wreath on. Infact my creme colored one might just need THIS WREATH! thanks for the tutorial!

  3. I adore your version of the book page wreath! And I love even more that you used the pages of a classic book rather than random pages.

  17. I just love this! So cute and sweet, I think it would look so cute in your little ones room. I bought all the supplies to make another book wreath I saw a few months back but I’m really liking yours…..now I need to decide which one I want to recreate. Maybe I’ll do both!
